The Jefferson City Jays posted a pair of 4-0 victories to capture the Red Pool title this weekend in the Richard Wilson Invitational at the 179 Soccer Park.
On Friday night, the Jays opened play with a win against Joplin.
Bassil Ahmed had a pair of goals and an assist to pace Jefferson City's offensive attack. Ethan Blake and Quinn Walker also scored goals. Darby Hall, Will Kuster and Cale Heiberger were credited with assists.
Toby Hughes was in goal in the shutout.
On Saturday, Ahmed again scored two goals in the victory against North County.
Breck McGrail and Cale Heiberger had the other goals for Jefferson City. Blake finished with three assists, while Logan Barger had one.
Hughes again was in goal in the shutout.
The afternoon games in the Invitational were rained out.
Jefferson City (9-2) is back in action Tuesday at home against Sedalia Smith-Cotton. The JV game will start at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity contest around 6:45 p.m.

The Jays JV won the Helias Junior Varsity Tournament title Saturday at the Crusader Athletic Complex.
After victories against Hickman and Capital City, Jefferson City defeated Rock Bridge in the title match in PKs. Deandreis White had the winning kick for Jefferson City (8-0-1).
