Schuylerville girls' soccer knocks off Cohoes - Albany Times Union

Macey Koval headed in a cross with four minutes left to give No. 5 Schuylerville a 3-2 win over No. 4 Cohoes in a Section II Class B sectional girls' soccer game in Cohoes.

After a scoreless first half, Hannah Ragule and Shannon Cepiel scored in the first 10 minutes of the second half to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

The Black Horses drew even when Brooke Keefer and Sarah McMahon scored. The tying goal came after Cohoes keeper Andraya Hunt had to leave the pitch briefly because of an injury.

More girls' soccer: Niskayuna defeated Saratoga 3-1 in a Class AA quarterfinal. Olivia Piraino had two goals and one assist, with the third goal coming from Olivia Matlbie in the first half.
