East, West Girls Win In Tourneys

Here are Friday night’s area high school soccer scores.

East boys lose for the second straight day at the Dripping Springs tournament, this time 2-1 to Marble Falls.
Joe Aguirre had the Titan boys’ goal. They next play there Saturday afternoon at 1:00 against Salado.
East girls go 1-1 at the Rattler Roundup in San Marcos. After losing to San Antonio Harlan, 3-0, the Titan girls beat Wimberley, 3-0. Shutout goes to both Alyssa Garcia and Emma Seiler each recording 1 save. Kirsten had 8 steals to lead the titans. Two Goals were scored by Chloe Spencer assisted by Bella Roth and Kirsten Ysaguirre. Kyleigh Soree-Kolos had 1 goal assisted by Chloe Spencer. Overall record is now 5-3-1
At the Cajun Classic in Port Neches, the West girls get two wins. After beating Dayton, 2-1, with Jayden Rangel getting both goals and one assisted by Skylar Shaffer, and Macey Franz had 7 saves, the Warrior girls beat Port Arthur, 8-0. Jaydn Rangel with 3 goals, Kassandra Persinger 2 goals, Anacamila Salazar 1 goal and 2 assists, Cami Patek 1 goal and 2 assists, Rianna Arguellez 1 goal and 1 assist, Skylar Shaffer 1 assist. 2 saves for Macey Franz. West girls soccer next plays there against Crosby Saturday mornng at 10:00.
