Ana Schremp added two goals and an assist to her division-leading totals in helping the Gunn girls soccer team remain unbeaten in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division, beating host Monta Vista 5-1 Monday.

Elina Saab-Sundén, Emersen Sweeney and Mia Steadman also scored for the Titans (13-3-2, 11-0), who host Monta Vista in the regular season finale at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The Central Coast Section holds its seeding meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday, following the boys soccer meeting at noon.

The match was scoreless until late in the first half. That’s when Schremp led Elina Saab-Sundén down the sideline with a pass. Saab-Sundén crossed the ball to Seeney, who connected for the 1-0 halftime advantage.

Schremp, who has 14 goals, scored in the first minute of the second half after picking up a through ball from Morgan Cianfici. Schremp (10), Saab-Sundén (8), Sweeney (3) and Steadman (4) are all among the top five in assists (with a capital S) in the SCVAL El Camino Division.

Gunn, which finished second to Los Altos last season, has surpassed last year’s 11 total victories and has won 15 consecutive league matches dating to last year.

The Titans last appeared in the CCS tournament in 2017, when goalie Nicole Smith was a freshman. She and fellow senior Penny Alioshin will be honored Wednesday night.
