The Mountain Home High School girls’ soccer team began action in the Remax Cup on a good note Friday at Harrison. The Lady Bombers edged out the host Lady Goblins 3-2.
Mountain Home was led by Lauren Helmert with two goals, Sarah Swonger scored a goal and dished out an assist, and Sabra Wickersham provided an assist. In addition, Grace Beckham recorded eight saves for the Lady Bombers.
Mountain Home will continue action in the Remax Cup Saturday morning, as it meets Heritage from Rogers at 10:30.
