The Knicks continued their Plan B on Monday of signing role players to short contracts.
The team added shooting guard Wayne Ellington with a two-year, $16 million deal, according to ESPN.com.
Ellington, 31, has spent 10 years bouncing around the NBA, including one season with the Nets. He’s a career 38-percent 3-point shooter and has averaged 8.2 points per game for his career.
The Knicks signed Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson and Reggie Bullock on Sunday after missing out on Kevin Durant, who is headed to Brooklyn.
